Slumber Safari is a fully hosted experience which includes amazing close-up animal encounters, drinks and dips at sunset, a sumptuous African themed dinner, awesome night-time activities including toasting marshmallows around the evening campfire and a delicious supper of scones, jam and cream. Wake up to the sounds of Africa, have an unforgettable breakfast overlooking the savannah and get ready for some more close-up animal action!

In the event that you cancel your animal encounter the following cancellation applies:
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to event date will be given a full refund
Cancellations between 14 and 30 days prior to the event date incur a 50% cancellation fee
Bookings cancelled within 14 days of the event date incur a 100% cancellation fee

Zoos Victoria reserves the right to cancel an encounter due to an animal welfare issue. A full refund or alternate booking will be made. Due to animal behavioral issues, experiences may vary.
All participants must agree to follow the keeper's instructions.
A paying adult must accompany children under 16 years old. 1adult:2children supervision is required for children under 8 years, 1adult:1child supervision is required for children between 8-15years old.

Stay overnight in our luxury safari tents with purpose built balconies and en-suites overlooking the Werribee River and the Zoo's African savannah.  Hosted by expert guides, Slumber Safari includes amazing close up animal encounters, a personally guided safari tour, drinks and dips at sunset, a sumptuous dinner and awesome night-time activities including night tours, toasting marshmallows around the evening campfire and a delicious supper of scones, jam and cream. You will arise from your luxury tent to enjoy watching the animals on the African savannah awaken. A buffet breakfast is served as you take in the view. After breakfast, you will experience an unforgettable and exclusive morning watching some of our largest animals wake up and have breakfast, before heading off on the family off road safari.
